Refund Policy

1. INTRODUCTION

This Refund Policy outlines the guidelines and procedures for refunds related to PACESC LLC ("PACESC," "we," "us," or "our") memberships, services, digital products, courses, and events purchased through our website (www.pacesc.com).

All homeschoolers must comply with the homeschool laws and regulations in their resident state. PACESC Homeschool Journey Membership is open to South Carolina residents only.

2. MEMBERSHIP FEES

All membership fees are non-refundable as they result in documents being produced which are irretrievable and give legal coverage verification that fulfills the requirement of South Carolina's homeschool statute S.C. Code Ann. 59-65-47. Once membership is approved and processed, no refunds will be issued for any reason.

3. DIGITAL PRODUCTS

3.1 Non-Downloaded Digital Products

For digital products that have not yet been downloaded, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of purchase.

3.2 Downloaded Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final once the product has been downloaded. No refunds will be issued for digital products that have been downloaded, as these cannot be returned or reclaimed.

4. COURSES

4.1 Online Courses

For online courses, the following refund policy applies:

  • If you request a refund before accessing any course materials: 100% refund minus an administration fee of %10 or $10, whichever is less

  • If you request a refund after accessing course materials but within 3 days of purchase: 50% refund

  • No refunds will be issued after 3 days from the date of purchase or if more than 25% of the course has been accessed, whichever comes first

4.2 Live Courses

For live courses (whether online or in-person):

  • Cancellations made 14 or more days before the course start date: 100% refund minus a $25 administrative fee

  • Cancellations made 7-13 days before the course start date: 50% refund

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the course start date: No refund

  • No refunds will be issued after the course has begun

5. EVENTS

5.1 Paid Events

For paid events, the following refund policy applies:

  • Cancellations made 30 or more days before the event: 100% refund minus a $10 administrative fee

  • Cancellations made 14-29 days before the event: 75% refund

  • Cancellations made 7-13 days before the event: 50% refund

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event: No refund

  • No refunds will be issued after the event has begun or taken place

5.2 Event Transfers

In lieu of a refund, you may transfer your registration to another eligible individual with prior written approval from PACESC. All transfer requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the event.

6. CANCELLATION BY PACESC

If PACESC cancels a course or event for any reason, a full refund will be issued to all registered participants within 14 business days.

7. EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES

We understand that exceptional circumstances can occur. In cases of serious illness, death in the family, or other extreme situations, please contact us, and we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Documentation may be required to support such requests.

8. REFUND PROCESS

8.1 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at pacesc@pacesc.com with the following information:

  • Your full name

  • Order number or transaction ID

  • Date of purchase

  • Item(s) for which you're requesting a refund

  • Reason for requesting a refund

8.2 Refund Method

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible. If the original payment method is no longer available, we will work with you to find an alternative refund method.

8.3 Refund Timeline

Approved refunds will typically be processed within 5-10 business days, although your financial institution may require additional time to process and post the refund to your account.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. It is your responsibility to review this Refund Policy periodically for changes.
